The correct materials are the first step. For the lock pin, housing, and load-bearing components of the locking mechanism in this instance, use robust, hardened special steel.

Protection from thieves: The quick-release bolts make it easy to disassemble the PRO side carrier. We advise using the lockable anti-theft device in place of a QUICK-LOCK quick-release fastener to prevent theft.
