Adventurers and their Adventure GS will be even more protected. Where the original R 1200 GS Adventure crash bar no longer suffices, the stainless steel Touratech crash bar extender can offer a solution. And that can happen much sooner than one might expect. When the motorcycle tips over past the crash bar, elements of the fairing or even the fragile aluminum tank are damaged, for example. Not only is this expensive, but in the worst case it will also end a nice trip.
The crash bar extension is made of rust-resistant, electropolished stainless steel that is easy to clean. Crash or impact forces are distributed over the frame by the sophisticated four-point screw connection, so that less damage is caused. It is possible to polish even deep scratches.

Additional information for mounting: The Touratech crash bar extension is screwed to the main frame of the vehicle and the original crash bar at two points to better distribute the crash or impact forces and prevent serious damage to the vehicle. Additional stability of the crash bar extension is achieved by two additional connection points on the crash bar. All parts required for mounting are included. No special tools are required.
