On a motorcycle, the handlebar mounts are one of the most vulnerable parts. The handles are safely protected by the robust protection. The closed guards have a bracket that is held at both the clamping blocks and the end of the handlebars, completely enclosing the anchor. This approach has been proven in rally bikes in the most extreme conditions.
Two bolt-on primary components and a mounting kit make up the system. Behind the guard there is always enough space to allow the levers to move freely. With the Defensa, the annoying clicking of the clutch lever on the guard, which is common with universal products, is no longer a problem.
The components of the Defensa are composed of a high-strength forged aluminum alloy that has proven to be reliable in aircraft construction. The proportions are generously chosen, with a thickness of 14 centimeters, without losing sight of the weight. Precision manufacturing ensures high sizing precision and therefore a perfect fit. In addition, compared to cast or milled aluminum, forging produces a structure that is much stronger and more resistant. Thanks to the model-specific adjustment, a tension-free installation and full steering angle is guaranteed.
Easy off-road and on-road adjustment For pure off-road use, the Defensa "Pure" version, where the bar is easily mounted, is recommended.
The Defensa "Expedition", which comes with a plastic wind deflector, is designed for mixed use.
The plastic shell fits over the headband and fastens to the screw connections of the two aluminum components, ensuring a perfect and secure fit.
