Modern synthetic filter media, found in K&N powersports chrome canister oil filters, is engineered for exceptional filtration while also being optimised for maximum flow with minimal pressure loss. The "spin-on" oil filters from K&N powersports have a robust, chrome-plated metal container. The end has a 17 mm nut attached to it that makes removal simple. In order for racers to safely wire the filter to their bike, the 17 mm nut is crossed-drilled.
