The Anakee III is the most recent Michelin motorcycle tire in the Anakee series. The Anakee III is immediately distinguishable from the previous two versions; the huge block design has been replaced with some of the most bizarre tread patterning I've ever seen on a motorbike tire. The Anakee III looks more like a road tire to me than any other dual-sport tire I've seen. I had to wonder how well it would do off-pavement just by looking at it. It's also worth noting that the Anakee III tire is referred to be a "Adventure Touring" tire throughout the Michelin documentation. This would lead one to conclude that pavement is its primary concern.
