This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorber is a top-of-the-line suspension component for your BMW R1200GS/R1250GS with BMW DDC Autoleveling. This premium shock absorber is specially built for long-distance touring with a lot of luggage, on any kind of road surface, and even off-road. The DDA / Plug & Travel shock absorber from Touratech Suspension simply replaces the BMW DDC shock absorber. On the handlebars, the current plug connections and switches are retained and used as before. As a result, the original BMW control unit in this shock absorber is integrated into the motorcycle. This shock absorber is compatible with the original BMW rear shock absorber. The Touratech suspension system adapts to your ride, so all you have to do is drive.

This Touratech Suspension DDA / Plug & Travel Shock Absorber is built with the same high quality components and parts that are proven and true in our shocks over thousands of miles of travel in the toughest situations. The high-performance DDA valve, invented and patented by Tractive, is the heart of this shock absorber. It ensures that the damping reacts in fractions of a second to any driving situation. Our shocks have a wider piston diameter, which means more oil volume, to withstand the rigors of long-haul rides. With a high damping frequency, this ensures better cooling. The shock absorber and damping are therefore more stable, and the seals are less stressed.

Please note the following:

- We recommend replacing both the rear and front shock absorbers with this suspension.

- With this premium suspension system, it is the only way to get the best possible road holding.

- DDA Plug & Travel "front" shock absorber from Touratech Suspension

- Plug connector and wire are included and ready to use.

The basic setup installed here is suitable for riders with extra luggage up to 100 kg. Adjustments are possible for a larger rider (above 100 kg) and/or if the motorcycle is usually driven with a passenger/luggage. In this situation, we adapt the shock absorber to your specifications by installing a spring with a higher spring rate. Please complete our suspension check and email it to us.
